Dr. Rajat Ray
Ph.D., M.Phil., Master’s in Physical Education
Dr. Rajat Ray brings over 30 years of experience in higher education as both an academician and administrator. He currently serves as Dean of Students and Cultural Affairs, Joint Registrar, and Registrar (Acting) at Adamas University, based at the Adamas Knowledge City campus.
A gold medalist in his Diploma and M.Phil. programs, he holds Master’s, M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in Physical Education, with expertise in Exercise Physiology, Yoga, Mental Health, Student Administration, and University Statutory Functioning.
He has taught at Dayanand College, Ajmer, and LNCPE, SAI Thiruvananthapuram, and later held administrative roles including Sports Officer at the University of Calcutta and Director of Youth Welfare at Jadavpur University. He also served nearly 20 years as Dean of Students at Jadavpur University. Dr. Ray actively promotes wellness and holistic living through yoga and trekking.
