ABOUT OUR JOURNEY

Adamas University is located in Barasat, just 13 km from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata. The university has a large green campus spread across 120 acres, offering students a peaceful and modern learning environment.

Now in its 10th year of operation, the university aims to provide high-quality education to students in West Bengal. It has well-equipped research facilities and an experienced team of teachers who guide students both academically and professionally.

Adamas University actively collaborates with industries and international institutions. These partnerships help students participate in projects, research activities, and student exchange programs, giving them global exposure and practical learning experience.

At present, the campus has over 7,500 students, including about 2,000 resident students and faculty members. The university offers programs under 10 Schools of Studies, designed to build strong knowledge as well as professional skills.

Establishment & Governance

Adamas University was established by the Sachis Kiran Roy Memorial Trust (SKRMT) under the Adamas University Act, 2014, passed by the West Bengal Legislature and approved by the Governor. The Act officially came into effect on 11 April 2014 through a Government of West Bengal notification.

The university is supported by its parent organization, the RICE Group, which works toward shaping the future and careers of young students in West Bengal.
